Sweden's answer for punk rock The Hives have been quiet since the release of their uneven 2007 LP The Black And White Album. According to Spinner, the band is presently in the studio working out the kinks after their hiatus. To do this, they whipped out some covers and threw them together in a 3 song EP titled Tarred and Feathered. The tracks are available soon and include a revved-up cover of early 80's Indianapolis punk band Zero Boys' "Civilization's Dying".
